They offer education, support and inspiration to integrative practitioners and trainees at all levels of their careers, an all regions of the world. While promoting evidence-based CAM therapies as well as judicious use of modern pharmacotherapies, they focus on safety and positive outcomes while honoring each patient’s unique needs, beliefs and wisdom for making therapeutic choices and developing relationships with practitioners that empower them.
INIMH facilitates collaboration between clinicians and researchers, extending beyond conventional understanding of mental health care to include a broad perspective including psychosocial, cultural and spiritual factors impacting health, well-being, immune function and physiological integrity.
