This evening holistic psychiatrist Dr. Richard Brown will share up-to-date information about a range of complementary treatments for children and adults with Attention Deficit Disorder (ADD) and Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD). These include herbs such as rhodiola, ginkgo, ginseng and pycnogenol; nutrients such as picamilon, SAMe, fish oils, etc.; biofeedback (including cranial stimulators); and mind-body practices including movement, breathing and meditation, which Dr. Brown will demonstrate by leading us in brief practices. For each treatment he will describe doses, side effects, and interactions, and also provide resources for further exploration.
