Edmond NDAYAMBAJE, M.Sc

Northern Province, Rwanda

I am Edmond NDAYAMBAJE, a Clinical Psychologist who graduated from University of Rwanda, in 2013. Moreover, I also am a master's holder in Psychology, graduated from Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta, Indonesia in 2020. Now, I live in Rwanda, specifically in Northern Province, Musanze District.

My brief comments regarding this BBM training, Level-1. First of all, after the 1994 genocide against the Tutsi in Rwanda, Rwanda has done a lot to develop the country and the Rwandan people have reduced poverty, where the country is now one of the developing countries. This has prompted citizens to work harder but to relate this development with the development of the family is still a serious problem because now the conflict between the members of the family is now a big problem; the killings between the spouses, killings between children and parents, killings between relatives and neighbors, and other betrayals are a major concern for the Rwandan community as a whole.
As a Psychotherapist, I usually use different therapeutic techniques to help people to overcome such problems. With BBM techniques, I hope to help them more to reduce anxiety, post-traumatic disorders, as well as other mental health disorders during therapy sessions. Through Ubuntu Center for Peace, I hope Breath-Body-Mind techniques will help me to teach Community Healing assistants (CHAS), so that they may contribute a lot to cure more people. Thank you.
