Learning, change, and personal transformation are a part of everything I do. Breath work is the most recent addition to my ongoing exploration and training in the healing arts. My primary areas of interest and expertise are working with parents around parenting issues, their ever-evolving roles, and emerging adults during the college search process and their adjustment to college.

I delight in developing workshops that include breath work, Emotional Freedom Techniques/Tapping, and Zentangle. These sessions are tailored for specific audiences, from children to adults, in both public and private settings.

Over time, I’ve become an alchemist, continuously discovering new ways of helping people be their best selves. This path first led me to the world of academia, where I became a teacher for students with special education needs in New York City, then a principal and administrator. My bachelor’s and master’s degrees in child psychology and special education, respectively, and doctorate in curriculum development from Teachers College, Columbia University, formed the foundation of this work. I have had my own instructional design and coaching firm for over 20 years. In addition, I am a graduate of CoachU and Martin Seligman’s Authentic Happiness Coaching Program. I am also an AAMET accredited and certified EFT practitioner, using healing energy tools for navigating past many of the turbulent waters in our lives.

I work with clients across the world through Zoom and Skype. Learn more about my work and feel free to contact me for a complimentary consultation at www.tappingwithjill.com.
