American Psychiatric Association (APA) Caucus on Integrative Medicine is a special interest group within the APA, with a mission to further medical and public understanding of Integrative Medicine in Psychiatry. The caucus is composed of psychiatrists interested in any and all treatments that can be of benefit to their patients. They are committed to not only understanding conventional medications and psychotherapy, but also understanding and utilizing complementary treatments including but not limited to herbs, nutritional supplements, acupuncture, neurofeedback and mind-body practices.

They accomplish their mission of increased medical and public understanding through education of both patients and the medical community through webinars, scientific sessions and listserve news updates.
