Justin Mazzotta, MSc Breath-Body-Mind Level-3 Teacher
York, United Kingdom
Justin Mazzotta, MSc, is a Level-3 Breath-Body-Mind teacher based in York in the UK. He teaches Breath-Body-Mind courses (both in person and online) to unpaid caregivers, and has helped develop a Breath-Body-Mind Fundamentals program specifically suited to caregiver needs, which was built upon a previous pilot project which he led.
Justin is a Social Entrepreneur, and has established a not-for-profit organization which supports people affected by dementia and unpaid caregivers with evidence based services; Breath-Body-Mind being one of these. He collaborates with people with dementia, researchers, and practitioners to develop awareness of best practice, as well as services and where they are needed. In 2018, he set up and made sustainable a social farming service which enables people with dementia to contribute to the running of a working farm. In 2023, he also established a Cognitive Rehabilitation service which enables people with dementia to function at their highest possible level in relation to specific goals which are important to them. He recently contributed to the 2025 World Alzheimer Report which focuses on re-ablement approaches for people with dementia.
Justin has utilized Breath-Body-Mind practices with people with dementia directly, and is keen to develop this work as there seems to be great potential there to support them through using Breath-Body-Mind.
