Ruth Litsky, J.D.M.A
New York, NY
Ruth taught foreign languages at the high school and college level for 20 years. Seeking a new experience, she completed law school and went on to practice law in Bronx family court for 21 years. For the past six years, she has volunteered in Central Park as a greeter telling visitors things to see in the park and how to get there. Since she speaks a few languages, she can tell them in their own language. The best part of all is to see the smile on their faces when they realize they do not have to struggle in English! While in family court, she initiated several classes in meditation for the judges and attorneys who were seeking to reduce the stress level in their environment. As a breath-body-mind teacher, she looks forward to sharing the practices and knowledge that she learned in her own training.
