Prerequisites for BBM TTL-3: Completion of Breath-Body-Mind Teacher Training Level-3 Part A - Oct. 25, 26, 27, & 28, 2021; Completion of Breath-Body-Mind Teacher Training Levels 1 and 2., Regular practice of Coherent Breathing (20 minutes per day, 5–7 days per week), Regular teaching of BBM to individuals and groups, Assistant teaching at BBM programs, BBM Zoom skills.

This 46-hour training is geared to healthcare professionals, therapists, yoga teachers, schoolteachers, military, and disaster relief workers – who have met the above course prerequisites.

We work with each candidate to develop the skills needed to become leaders in developing BBM programs for their areas of interest.

Benefits of Breath-Body-Mind have been shown for health care practitioners, individuals with psychiatric and medical conditions, at-risk children, veterans, active duty military, research studies, and disaster survivors.

 About this training:

 In this third part of the three-level teacher training sequence, you will:

  • Improve your skills in teaching BBM techniques for stress, coping with COVID, anxiety disorders, PTSD, military trauma, post-disaster, depression, ADHD, and stress-related medical conditions.

  • Focus on developing your skills for training Level-1 and Level-2 BBM Teacher Training candidates.  

  • Lead a breakout group of BBM TT Level-1 candidates

  • Teach BBM Level-1 candidates while senior faculty observe and offer suggestions for improvement.

  • Attend to creating a safe container, tone of voice, pacing, accuracy of instruction, trauma sensitivity, leadership, and supporting teachers and students through the learning process. 

  • Increase understanding of neurophysiological effects of voluntarily regulated breathing practices on emotion regulation, bonding, and cognitive function.

  • Attend a 4-hr advanced training on Oct. 28, 2021

  • Participate in faculty meetings

With the completion of Level-3 Teacher Training, you will acquire the skills to:

  • Teach BBM practices and BBM Zoom Skills to individuals and groups

  • Explain the basic scientific principles for the effects of breathing practices on stress response, autonomic balance, anxiety, social engagement

  • Assist in teaching BBM workshops and L-1, L-2 teacher training programs

  • Conduct follow-up sessions for those seeking ongoing practice

  • Offer further guidance to beginners and Levels 1 and 2 BBM teachers

  • Develop programs in your communities and workplaces

Level-3 Teacher Training graduates will be listed on the BBM Teacher page and will be invited to create their own page as a “Featured Teacher” for the Breath-Body-Mind Website. Photographs, audio recordings or video clips can be used to enhance the description of their professional interests, work, training, and offerings.
