Prerequisite: Completion of a 12-hour Breath-Body-Mind™ Introductory Workshop and regular practice of Coherent Breathing (20 minutes per day, 5–7 days per week)
This 36-hour training is designed for healthcare professionals, therapists, yoga teachers, school teachers, military, and disaster relief workers – who have completed the BBM Introductory Workshop and are practicing Breath-Body-Mind (BBM) techniques regularly. Benefits of BBM have been shown for people under stress, health care practitioners, individuals with psychiatric and medical conditions, at-risk children, children with special needs, veterans, active duty military, and survivors of disasters. BBM is helping children and families deal better with the stress of the COVID crisis.
Dr. Brown and Dr. Gerbarg have provided Breath-Body-Mind programs for relief of the psychological and physical symptoms following disasters such as the 2001 World Trade Center attack, the Gulf Horizon oil spill, and for survivors of abuse, war, human trafficking, slavery, and genocide in South Sudan, Uganda, Rwanda, Nigeria (the Chibok girls who survived captivity by the Boco Haram), Berlin (Middle East refugees), and Bangladesh (Rohingya refugee children).
Thousands of people have benefited.
