The BBM practices are designed to activate mind-body communication pathways, raise energy, regulate mood, enhance performance, reduce inflammation, and help dissolve pain; this training is for anyone who wishes to improve their stress resilience, physical health, and general well-being.
This 12-hour BBM Fundamentals course is for everyone who wants to experience an immersive Breath-Body-Mind (BBM) weekend. The course is also preparation for and a pre-requisite to Level-One BBM Instructor training.
Bonus Material: You will also receive six months of free access to pre-recorded BBM Fundamentals course videos to support your development of a regular BBM practice.
BBM is ideal professional development for coaches, mental health practitioners, psychologists, therapists, nurses, doctors, school teachers, yoga, qigong, mindfulness and meditation teachers, first responders, relief workers, NGOs, and administrators who may wish to also attend the Level-1 Breath-Body-Mind Instructor Training.
Benefits of Breath-Body-Mind have been shown in healthcare practitioners, individuals with psychiatric and medical conditions, at-risk children, veterans, active-duty military, research studies, and survivors of disasters.
Following this course, we highly recommend attending a weekly BBM practice session (45 - 60 minutes) for a minimum of six weeks for BBM Level-1 Instructor Training. You can also attend BBM classes prior to BBM Fundamentals training.
This BBM Course and six follow-up sessions fulfill the prerequisites for L1 BBM Instructor Training.
On the Weekend BBM Fundamentals Course:
You will learn breathing techniques shown to relieve stress and improve mood, mental focus, and performance. Positive effects have been experienced by individuals with anxiety, depression, PTSD, ADD and other medical conditions. Many people who have practiced these techniques say that they feel transformed, and they never would have imagined that something so simple could be so effective.
Through movement, breathing, and relaxation techniques, you will learn to:
