Studies have shown that evidence-based voluntarily regulated breathing practices (VRBPs) can significantly improve symptoms of anxiety, depression and stress-related medical conditions. In this three-part professional training, you’ll learn breathing and gentle movement techniques proven to relieve stress and improve mood, mental focus and performance, as well as the science behind how and why breathing practices positively impact the brain.
Explore drug-free alternatives to balance the nervous system
Increase your stress resilience and renew your energy
Reduce anxiety, insomnia and depression
Connect to your inner-self and others
Improve relationships and empathic abilities
Increase lung capacity, oxygenation and cardio-respiratory health
This course is particularly impactful for healthcare providers bearing the effects of the COVID-19 crisis on their patients, themselves, and their families. Healthcare workers can use VRBPs to reduce their own level of stress, fatigue and frustration, while they enhance energy, enthusiasm, engagement and empathy.
This work teaches self-healing methods for both children and adults, including yoga teachers, military veterans and individuals with PTSD, anxiety, depression, ADD, and medical conditions.
