Prerequisite: Completion of Breath-Body-Mind Teacher Training Level-1 and Level-2

In this third part of the three-level teacher training sequence, you learn to teach the BBM techniques to individuals and groups. You also become qualified to assist in the training of Breath-Body-Mind teachers up to Level-1.

  • "Ha" breath, breath moving, resistance breathing, 4-4-6-2, Qigong 4-4 breath, Ocean Breath, Alternate Nostril Breathing, Tapping

  • The Four Golden Wheels

  • The Great Harmonizer of the Breath

  • Body scan, Guided meditation/relaxation

  • Group Processes and Program Planning 

Dr. Brown teaches additional advanced practices such as Joint Mobility, Swimming Dragon, The Small Heavenly Circuit, Breathing Through Space, Open Focus Attention Training, and Group Processes.

Dr. Gerbarg delves deeper into methods to integrate BBM techniques with psychotherapy and methods to enable individuals with mental and emotional challenges to benefit from BBM practices.

Increase your understanding of neurophysiological effects of voluntarily regulated breathing practices on emotion regulation, bonding, and cognitive function. Practice training Level-1 teachers while faculty observe and offer suggestions for improving your teaching techniques. Gain confidence in teaching BBM sequences to larger groups. Attention is given to creating a safe container, tone of voice, pacing, accuracy of instruction, and trauma sensitivity.  Support and guidance is provided to help you develop and adapt BBM methods to your own projects and work settings.

With the completion of Level-3 Teacher Training participants will acquire the skills to:

  • Teach the BBM practices to individuals and groups

  • Assist in the Training of BBM teachers up to Level-1

  • Develop novel applications for BBM techniques

  • Develop programs in their communities and workplaces
