This 36-hour level one BBM teacher training is geared to healthcare professionals, coaches, NLP and IEMT practitioners, administrators, therapists, yoga and meditation teachers, school teachers, military, first responders, EMTs, police, firefighters, disaster relief workers, and service organizations – who have met the above course prerequisites.
Benefits of Breath-Body-Mind™ have been shown in health care practitioners, individuals with psychiatric and medical conditions, at-risk children, veterans, active-duty military, research studies, and survivors of disasters.
Dr Brown and Dr Gerbarg have provided BREATH-BODY-MIND™ programs for the relief of psychological and physical symptoms related to the 2001 World Trade Center attack for the past 15 years. Thousands of people have benefited, including First Responders, healthcare providers, tower escapees, area residents, volunteers, Ground Zero workers, and families. Their programs have also been highly beneficial for survivors of the Southeast Asian Tsunami (2004), the Gulf Horizon oil spill, and survivors of war, human trafficking, slavery, genocide and abuse in South Sudan, Uganda, Rwanda, Nigeria (the Chibok girls who survived captivity by the Boko Haram), Middle East refugees in Berlin, Rohingya refugee children in Bangladesh, and other refugee populations including crisis and relief in Ukraine.
About the training:
In this first part of the three-level teacher training sequence, you learn to teach the core BBM techniques to individuals for stress, coping with COVID, anxiety disorders, PTSD, military trauma, post-disaster, depression, ADHD, and stress-related medical conditions. Specific methods taught in this program include:

Two Golden Wheels

Trauma sensitive teaching
Introduction to BBM for Children
Precautions in teaching individuals with psychiatric and medical conditions

Conduct follow-up sessions for those seeking ongoing practice
Offer guidance to beginners in these techniques of self-regulation
Help develop programs in your communities and workplaces
Participants who complete all sessions and who demonstrate competence in teaching BBM core techniques will receive Breath-Body-Mind Level-1 Teaching Certification.
