We are delighted to welcome back Dr. Richard P. Brown and Dr. Patricia Gerbarg, pioneers of Integrative Mental Health, to offer their ground-breaking Breath-Body-Mind Teacher Training Level-1. Guest teacher, Jyoti Manuel, Founder of Special Yoga, will show how she integrates BBM methods in her work with children who are at-risk, traumatized, and with other special needs.

This 36-hour teacher training is geared to healthcare professionals, therapists, yoga teachers, life coaches, school teachers, military, and disaster relief workers – who have met the above course prerequisite.

Benefits of Breath-Body-Mind have been shown for health care practitioners, individuals with psychiatric and medical conditions, at-risk children, veterans, active duty military, research studies, and survivors of disasters.

Dr. Brown and Dr. Gerbarg have provided bi-annual BREATH-BODY-MIND™ programs for relief of psychological and physical symptoms related to the 2001 World Trade Center attack for the past 15 years. Thousands of people have benefited, including First Responders, healthcare providers, tower escapees, area residents, volunteers, Ground Zero workers, and families. Their programs have also been highly beneficial for survivors of the Southeast Asian Tsunami (2004), the Gulf Horizon oil spill, and survivors of war, human trafficking, slavery, genocide and abuse in South Sudan, Uganda, Rwanda, Nigeria (the Chibok girls who survived captivity by the Boco Haram), Middle East refugees in Berlin shelters, and Bangladesh (Rohingya refugee children).
